Stick With Me Sweets makes handcrafted chocolates! We work in Brooklyn to produce and ship our chocolates, which are sold at our sweet little shop in Manhattan and also shipped around the country. 

At our kitchen facility in the Brooklyn Navy Yards, we're looking to add a Polisher / Dishwasher to our team! 

We are a small team, with each person playing an important role in the production of our chocolates. This role will include dishwasher duties and also polishing chocolate molds. 

Stick With Me Sweets is looking for a committed individual who is detailed oriented . The perfect candidate will push themselves to do better every day, look for ways to help others, and pay close attention to every detail. 

Everyone that joins our team is a valuable player and we ensure they are given the opportunity to grow. 

This is a Full Time position with 4-5 shifts a week, Monday-Fridays during daytime hours.

Qualities & Responsibilities include:

• Dishwashing and Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment used in chocolate production. This includes washing, sanitizing, and properly storing items after use.
• Polishing Chocolate Molds: Carefully polish and prepare chocolate molds, ensuring they are ready for use in the production process. This requires attention to detail to avoid any imperfections that may affect the final product.
• Restocking and Organizing: Keep kitchen areas clean and organized by ensuring ingredients, supplies, and tools are stocked, labeled, and easily accessible for the team.
• Waste Management: Properly dispose of waste and recycling materials according to company and building standards, helping maintain a clean and sustainable environment.
• Ensuring Hygiene and Safety Standards: Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure the workspace exceeds industry standards. This includes personal hygiene and safe handling of food-contact surfaces, chemicals, and cleaning products.
• Adaptability and Multitasking: Assist in other tasks and take on additional responsibilities as needed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This includes being proactive in identifying areas where improvements can be made.
• Positive Team Collaboration: Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude while working closely with other team members. Be willing to step in and help wherever needed to ensure smooth operation of the facility.
