Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for an energetic, motivated Employment Specialist to join our award-winning team. In this key role, youll combine recruiting, inside sales, and account management to connect top-tier talent with great companies. Youll be responsible for filling job orders quickly, building long-lasting client relationships, and ensuring a strong candidate pipeline across Office Services, Light Industrial, and Professional roles .

Key Responsibilities:

Recruiting & Placement

  • Source, screen, interview, and place qualified candidates using Express's proven hiring process
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pool to fill job orders quickly and efficiently
  • Match job seekers with appropriate client roles, coordinate interviews, and ensure successful placements
  • Conduct employment verification and follow-up for associate satisfaction

Inside Sales & Client Service

  • Fill 100% of qualified job orders with urgency and precision

  • Make 50+ weekly sales calls and daily follow-ups to drive business growth
  • Develop relationships with local businesses and convert employment verification calls into new client leads
  • Present Express staffing solutions and service offerings to new and existing clients
  • Coordinate and attend client visits, job site tours, and promotional events

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with your internal team to match job seekers with the right opportunities
  • Support the sales team with appointment setting and lead generation

  • Communicate daily to share candidate availability, job orders, and client feedback

Compliance & Administration

  • Ensure all placements follow federal, state, and Express guidelines (EEOC, ADA, FLSA, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate records in Express's applicant tracking system (ATS)

  • Assist with timecard issues, billing inquiries, and collections as needed

Interview Process:

  1. Initial Interview with Leadership

  2. Second Interview with Team Partner
