Job Responsibilities

Basic Functions : We are seeking applicants for a Trainee position which is an entry level Skilled Trades employee to perform general machine shop cleanup duties. This position is an opportunity to gain experience in a machine shop setting for an individual who would potentially grow into a member of LEA Coldwater’s Apprenticeship Program.

 

Principle Responsibilities:

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the manufacturing shop
Assist with set up and tear down of any company wide meeting
Perform other duties as assigned

 

Role Qualifications:

Must be familiar with Company quality objectives and play an active role in reaching continuous improvement objectives.
Be aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the achievement of quality objectives.


ISO-14001: Complies with ISO 14001, and other relevant standards. Support, implement and understand the intent of the EMS policy. Participates with ISO-14001 as required.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pending or earned High School Diploma
  • Vocational training in Machine Trades or equivalent preferred
  • Demonstrated aptitude for mechanical trades and applied mathematics
  • Demonstrated eagerness to work and learn metalworking
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of machines and tools
