This is not a role in wedding, banquet, or private event coordination. Instead, you’ll gain hands-on experience in grassroots fundraising , cause-based campaigns, and live public outreach — where your work directly impacts community change.

💼 Role Overview:

As an Event Marketing Assistant, you’ll support our direct fundraising team by executing in-person outreach activations across neighborhoods, retail hubs, and community centers. You’ll engage the public, represent nonprofit partners, and mobilize support for critical social causes.

🛠 Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and execution of community-facing marketing and fundraising campaigns

• Assist with event setup, coordination, and breakdown at live nonprofit outreach initiatives

• Engage directly with the public to raise awareness and inspire action

• Collaborate with marketing staff to deliver on-brand, impactful event experiences

• Build trust and educate community members on social impact issues

• Participate in professional development and leadership training

• Uphold compliance and represent the organization professionally

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, public-facing outreach environments (not banquet halls!)

• Detail-oriented with good time management and eagerness to learn

• Self-starter able to work independently and collaboratively

• Experience in customer service, sales, marketing, or fundraising a plus, but not required

• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Availability for local travel and occasional weekend shifts
