CHS Herman in Ortonville, MN is looking for a Hazmat Truck Driver to join our team! This individual would be responsible for delivering refined fuels and propane to our local customers as well as helping out as a service technician. The ideal candidate would have a Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements or willing to obtain. We offer ample overtime during the spring and fall months. Ensure accurate and on time deliveries to our customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. To include but not limited to pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement and hours of service. Assist in the warehouse when not delivering product.Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands.Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditionsPerform other duties as needed or assigned.Minimum Qualifications (required)
Class A or B CDL Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signalsAdditional Qualifications
Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements or willing to obtainMust meet DOT and Company requirementsAbility to work additional hours and occasional weekends to meet business demands.Bulk liquid experience preferredPre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
