Robert Half is seeking a dedicated Accounting Assistant to work with our clients and contribute to their financial efficiency. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial records, assisting with essential accounting functions, and supporting the overall success of the accounting team. Key Responsibilities + Assist with daily accounting tasks such as data entry, processing invoices, and managing expense reports. + Maintain and update financial records in a timely and accurate manner. + Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements. + Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, including verifying and coding invoices and preparing customer invoices. + Help prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end close activities. + Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. + Address inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal departments related to financial transactions. + Perform administrative tasks, such as filing documents, managing correspondence, and ensuring accurate record-keeping for audits. Requirements + 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related administrative role is preferred. + Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is an advantage, though not required. + Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite is beneficial. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data entry, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables) is strongly preferred. + Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic work environment. + A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a commitment to confidentiality and compliance.
